It's New Year's Eve (well, in some parts of the world, anyway), and I've collected another collection of comments from our favorite stubborn, dense, immature, annoying troll wannabe, Inscest (not his real username).

More inane TLK drivel )

Nothing Christmassy at all about this entry unless you consider it as a gift of entertainment to the TLK fandom.

Very long, pointless Lion King fanbabble under cut )

First TLK fanfic I’ve written in four years. Woo.

It’s quite short, miniscule in scope, with no original characters (which is probably not a bad thing), just a spur-of-the-moment idea I thought would make a good story which I actually felt motivated to write/type.

I’m still not writing as effortlessly and freely as I once did. When I look at some of my earlier works, regardless of how sucky the thing I’m writing about may be, the way it is written is just “ARRGH, why the heck can’t I write as good as this now?!?”-inducing.

Unrelated Closing Note: I recently learned that if it weren’t for an early form of "art theft", papercutting would have become extinct as an art form long ago. A couple hundred years ago, people traced wallpaper patterns and other mass-produced art and made elaborate papercuts out of them, effectually helping the art survive and evolve into the beautiful, unique (albeit very rare) thing it is today.

You hear that, thief bashes? Who knows what amazing, unique art forms you might be driving into the dirt at this very moment with your non-stop public flames and "anti-theft" propaganda, depriving future generations of their incredible beauty!!

(just kidding.)

I was up late with no desire to sleep on New Year's Eve, and having nothing better to do, I did an "ego search" to see where the name "Akril" popped up on the web, discovering, among other things, that Akril is the name of a class of ships in the Star Trek novels. However, one of the more memorable findings was an entry in the Kiara's Sahifa guestbook.

(Mandatory backstory: I once drew a picture of Tanabi (Simba's unnofficial son) and Lune (Leo/Kimba's son, from the anime series and movie which TLK has oft been accused of plagarazing) getting discovered by one of their parents, with Tanabi asking "But why can't we be friends?" Some time after drawing this, I was asked to draw Kiara and Lukio (Simba's daugher and Kimba's daughter) together, which I did.)

Anyway, this was the guestbook entry that I found:

Hi there! It's me Lune, heard of me? Simba doesn't forgive Leo (his nickname, Kimba he is my father) for being just like him, but hey what the heck, they're both friends now! And me and Tanabi are real good pals, but one day we were found out,
same with Luki too! (Lukio) See for yourself!

Sorry, I can't find the other picture.
See ya! Have you heard of me? Tell me when you know.
Bye.

This is the first time someone has apparently fabricated a story based on a couple of my pictures. It's so cute, I don't really know how to react.
